Education and Career
Ms. Rima Jameel graduated from the University of Wisconsin, USA Science with Chemistry being the major subject. Later, she pursued law studies from Widener University School of Law, Pennsylvania and received her Juris Doctorate award.
Thereafter, she got involved with the Pennsylvania Bar. She continued her commercial and corporate law training in the USA and completed the training successfully. Afterward, she went to the United Arab Emirates, in Dubai where she joined Al Tamimi &Company, a reputed law firm in the position of a legal Law consultant.
Rima Jameel took the prestigious position of Chief Counsel in 2003, working for Gulf Oil and Gas, oil and gas company and looked after the legal affairs and its subsidiaries including energy, project finance, commercial and corporate matters.
In the year 2006, Ms. Rima Jameel started her private practice in a law firm in Dubai. There she pursued her practice in commercial law including licensing/franchising, acquisitions, mergers, and equity matters. She went ahead to expand her commercial law background and included infrastructure like desalination, power generation, waste water and thermal energy.
In 2011, Rima Jameel joined SAGE Legal where she concentrated on commercial/corporate legal advisory and consulting services and medium and small sized enterprises. Today, Rima Jameel engages herself with various law practices on international and regional franchising, cross border international mergers, acquisitions and corporate and personal equity matters.
