Rima attended the University of Wisconsin, USA for her Bachelors of Science in Chemistry honours. After her graduation, she was awarded her Juris Doctorate in Law from Widener University School of Law in Pennsylvania and was admitted to the Bar.

She completed her training in the United States in corporate and commercial law. She United Arab Emirates to join a law firm called Al Tamimi & Company in Dubai. She worked there as a legal consultant in the Banking & Finance Department.

In 2003, she became a Chief Counsel for an oil & gas company called, Gulf Oil and Gas, in Abu Dhabi. In Gulf Oil and Gas, she was responsible for legal affairs of the parent company and also its subsidiaries in Middle East and North Africa. Her work included corporate and commercial matters, energy (oil & gas), and project finance.

Rima Jameel moved to Dubai in 2006. In Dubai, she worked as a partner in a mid-size law firm. In the firm, she continued to develop her commercial practise which included franchising, franchising/licensing, mergers and acquisitions and private equity matters; Ms. Jameel further expanded her energy background to include infrastructure (power generation, desalination, thermal energy and waste water).

Five years later, she joined the SAGE Legal in January 2011. There she continued to focus on corporate and commercial legal consulting and advisory services to small and medium sized enterprises. She continues to focus on regional and international franchising, cross border mergers and acquisitions and private equity affairs.

Fluent in English and a decent conversant in Arabic, Ms Jameel has over the years, gained enough experience in the field of commercial and corporate law, to be called an expert. Her experience knowledge and willingness to educate her clients is what sets her apart.
